How to Get the Green Gem in Lost City in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot Lost City

In Crash Bandicoot, the first game in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, you must collect multicolored gems to access secret areas. It’s not the easiest task in the game.

The first gem you’ll be able to collect is the Green Gem, which is located in the Lost City level. The trick to doing this is to take it slowly. Even if you’ve been through this level 100 times, you’ll want to approach each obstacle with caution. This is basically an endurance run, and if you start mentally zoning out — letting your subconscious take over — it’s really easy to screw up and have to start all over again.

Also, there’s a hidden exclamation box you’ll need to activate in order to get this box to show up:

Crash Bandicoot Lost City

It’s in this narrow little passage:

Crash Bandicoot Lost City

When you hit the fruit crate in the very back of that passage, you’ll bounce into the air. Either hit the X button to bounce higher or hit the square button to spin while you’re in the air and you should activate it.

You’ll also have to complete the two bonus levels, which might be the most difficult part of this stage. Don’t worry, you can fail a bonus level and it won’t count as a death.

And those are the main things to keep in mind. For a full run of the Lost City stage, check out our video below.

We also have a guide on getting the Red Gem in Slippery Climb, so check that out too.
