How to Get the Red Gem in Slippery Climb in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot Slippery Climb

In Crash Bandicoot — the first game in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy — getting the Red Gem in Slippery Climb seems nearly impossible. You have to complete the whole level without dying, plus smash every box. But if you put in a little bit of practice, it’s really not that difficult. (In fact, we found the Green Gem in Lost City to be trickier than this one.) And, since the Red Gem lets you access secret areas that are otherwise closed off to you, it’s worth the effort.

The hardest part is actually the bonus level, which requires complete perfection. Don’t worry, failing a bonus level doesn’t count as a death, so you can try as many times as you need to. You can check out our video below to see how we handled it if you’re having problems (it’s right at the 3:40 mark).

There aren’t really any hidden boxes in this stage, so you won’t have to go searching for anything. Of course, there are a few locations inside windows that can be tricky to get in and out of due to the way the platforms move.

But if you practice a bit, you should have the Red Gem in no time.

Below you’ll find our video of how to get the Red Gem in Slippery Climb in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
