Animal Crossing‘s Sterling is an eagle out of time. He dresses like a knight from the days of yore, and he’s perpetually thinking about his next workout. But these are far from his strangest personality quirks. In Animal Crossing: New Horizon, Sterling lives in a prison — an actual, literal prison.
While Tasha (that lovable maybe-secret-agent, maybe-skunk-or-squirrel) has a fabulous sense of design, Sterling’s interior decorating skills could use some work. His place looks like a medieval dungeon. When you enter, you kind of want to whip out a sword, slay some monsters, and collect some loot. And to top it all off, he’s rocking out to K.K. Dirge.
I’m sure he has a good reason, though. Right? (I have so many questions…)
