In Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back — the second game in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy — one of the ways you unlock secret areas is by collecting gems of various colors. The Green Gem is hidden in The Eel Deal, and you can follow our simple guide to finding it.
The Green Gem is actually the easiest of the colored gems to get in Crash Bandicoot 2, and there’s a pretty obvious hint about it in this stage’s loading screen.
All you have to do is find the secret area.
To get there, simply move forward through the level until you come to the first fork in the pipe, shortly after the first checkpoint.
Take the right-hand path here, through a room filled with Nitro Crates. Move all the way to the back wall, which is sealed off with a vault door.
That vault door is the fake thing mentioned in the loading screen. You can walk right through it, to a path that leads straight to the Green Gem.
And that’s all there is to it. To see a video of our Green Gem run in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, check out the video below.
